Bring Your Unwanted Items to The Great Denver Cleanup This Saturday!
 
DENVER ­--Spring cleaning? Denver Public Works has you covered! Denver residents who are cleaning out their closets, making room in the garage, and tidying up their yards can take those unwanted items to free drop-off locations for The Great Denver Cleanup on Saturday, May 21 from 9:00am to 2:00pm. 
 
14 Free Drop-Off Locations:
  • North High School (W. 32nd Ave. & Eliot St.)
  • Evie Dennis Campus (E. 48th Ave. & Walden St.)
  • Lincoln High School (S. Federal & Iliff Ave.)
  • Kepner Middle School (W. Kentucky & S. Hazel Ct.)
  • Beach Court Elementary School (50th Ave. & Beach Ct.)
  • Manual High School (26th Ave. & Williams St.)
  • East High School (16th Ave. & Josephine St.)
  • Ashley Elementary School (Montview & Spruce St.)
  • South High School (E. Louisiana Ave. & S. Franklin St.)
  • Cherry Creek Transfer Station (Jewell & S. Quebec St.)
  • Laradon Hall (52nd Ave. & Lincoln St.)
  • Montbello High School (50th Ave. & Crown Blvd.)
  • Swansea Elementary School (E. 47th Ave. & Elizabeth St.)
  • Colorado Driver’s License Office (W. Mississippi Ave. & S. Raritan St.)
 
Acceptable Items: furniture (indoor and outdoor), bicycles, appliances (without Freon), yard waste (will be composted if separated from trash), scrap metal, toys, swing sets/slides, BBQ grills (without ashes), rigid plastics, mattresses/box springs and carpet
 
Non-Acceptable Items: televisions, computer monitors, tree stumps, soil/sod, rocks/concrete, household hazardous waste, auto parts (including tires), building/construction materials and clothing
