The Seventh Avenue Neighborhood Association is a volunteer non-profit organization established to serve as a focal point for community information.  We work together for the enrichment and betterment of the community.

Do you live in East Denver in the area bordered by Colorado Boulevard & Downing Street and East 6th Avenue & East 8th Avenue?  If so, become a member of SANA and stay up to date on everything that is happening in our community! 

Our 2024 Meeting Schedule

SANA encourages ALL neighbors--including home owners, renters, business owners, etc.--to attend our quarterly General Membership meetings.  Be sure to introduce yourself to the board and to your neighbors; every interaction helps us build a stronger sense of community.

In 2024, we have elected to hold three membership meetings; we will no longer hold a membership meeting over the summer. Please always check this page (and be sure to sign up for our email list) for meeting information and updates. The 2024 meeting schedule follows:
  • Wednesday, January 24 at 6pm - Note: This meeting will take place at the Church Hall in the basement of Good Shepherd Church. Please follow posted signs. 
  • Wednesday, May 29 at 6pm - Note: This meeting will take place at the Church Hall in the basement of Good Shepherd Church. Please follow posted signs.
  • Wednesday, October 23 at 6pm (subject to church availability)

Unless otherwise noted above, in-person meetings are typically held at 6pm at the Good Shepherd Church Parish Family Center located on Elizabeth Street between 6th Avenue and 7th Ave Parkway. In the event of inclement weather, we may hold a virtual meeting. In those instances, we will post Zoom details to this page and will send to our email subscribers.

​New and Noteworthy

The East Seventh Avenue Neighborhood is a special treasure for residents and the greater Denver community.  On any given day, you'll see runners and walkers on their daily constitutional, cyclists commuting to work, mothers and fathers pushing strollers, and dog owners out with their furry friends.  The green emerald in the midst of a growing city, the Parkway's leafy canopy and beautiful gardens are a delight to the community.

Traffic Committee

Following two major traffic accidents and an increase in drivers using the Parkway as a cut-through to avoid more congested roads, SANA is leading the charge to push through tighter traffic controls.  Stay up to date on our recommendations, key upcoming meetings, and make sure your voice is heard.  Click here for an update.

City Resources - Building, Landmarks, Trash Collection & Recycling

Are you new to the neighborhood?  (Welcome!) Or are you planning a construction project on your property?  If so, be sure to visit the Building, Zoning & Historic Preservation page for details on the City of Denver's regulations and the Historic District Designation.
